Mixed Conditionals (C1)

🔍 Tipo 1: Condizione Passata ➔ Risultato Presente

If + PAST PERFECT [azione passata] , WOULD + VERBO BASE [effetto ora]

📌 Esempi Pratici:

  • If I had studied harder at university, I would have a better job now.
  • We wouldn’t be lost right now if we had looked at the map.

🔍 Tipo 2: Condizione Presente ➔ Risultato Passato

If + PAST SIMPLE [stato permanente] , WOULD HAVE + PARTICIPIO [evento passato]

📌 Esempi Pratici:

  • If I spoke German, I would have applied for that job in Berlin.
  • If she weren’t so shy, she would have talked to him at the party.

❓ Dettagli Avanzati & Dubbi

  • Posso usare altri modali oltre a “would”?
➔ Assolutamente sì. Nei contesti C1, è frequente usare could, might o should nella frase principale (es. If I had checked the weather, I might be dry right now).
