📌 Lesson Contents
🎯 Goal of the Mega Review
In this lesson we make a killer summary of two of the most important topics in English: Conditionals (0, 1, 2) and Relative Clauses. Check the rules quickly, then test yourself with the maxi-test at the bottom of the page! 🚀
📚 Summary of the Rules
1. Conditionals
- Zero (Always true):
If + Present Simple, Present Simple.
(If you heat ice, it melts) - First (Likely):
If + Present Simple, will + verb.
(If it rains, I will stay home) - Second (Imaginary):
If + Past Simple, would + verb.
(If I had money, I would travel)
⚠️ Golden rule: never use “will” or “would” straight after “if”!
2. Relative Clauses
- Who: for people.
- Which: for things and animals.
- Where: for places.
- Whose: for possession (= “of whom”).
- That: can replace who/which, but NEVER in clauses between two commas (Non-Defining).
