🎓 How the scoring works
Careful: you only get one try per question! Prof. Meow Meow will judge ONLY your opening grammar. If the question asks about height, you can answer “I am tall”, “I am short” or “I am 1.70”. You choose the vocabulary, the important thing is to get the verb right (I am)!
🔧 A technical problem (microphone not hearing you, permission denied…) does not count as an attempt: you can always try again. If the microphone doesn’t work, you can also type your answer on the keyboard. At the end of the test you can review only the questions you got wrong, without starting again from the beginning.
1. To Be vs To Have ⚡
Many languages use the verb “have” for lots of things (I have hunger, I have 20 years). In English, the split for physical descriptions is very strict:
- ✅ You ARE (To be): Age, height, weight, personality (I am 25, I am tall, She is nice).
- ✅ You HAVE (To have / Have got): Hair, eyes, beard, glasses (I have blue eyes, He has a beard).
- ❌ Serious mistake: I have tall / I am blonde hair.
2. The three trick questions with “Like” 🗝️
